We cordially invite you to the next meeting of EuroChamber's "Sustainability and Energy" working group.


Our "Sustainability and Energy" working group is dedicated to advocating for renewable energy sources and implementing sustainable (ESG) practices in Mongolia.


Our objective is to unite representatives from EuroChamber Mongolia's member organizations who share a common interest in promoting and advancing the sustainability (ESG) and renewable energy initiatives across all sectors in Mongolia.

OUR SPEAKER

Boldoo Magvan is the CEO of the Mongolia Green Finance Corporation (MGFC), a wholesale lending institution to fund green loans.

Previously he served top level executive level positions in public and private financial institutions, including the Bank of Mongolia (Central bank), commercial banks, leasing and insurance companies in Mongolia, a microfinance company in China. Boldoo held the position of Chief Executive Officer and President of XacBank between 2005 and 2019, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Mongolia (Central Bank) between 1996-2000. He was consultant at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC during 2001 and 2005. Boldoo is an active promoter of inclusive finance and values of triple-bottom line mission, Planet, People and Prosperity.

Boldoo studied international economics at the Budapest University of Economics, Hungary. He also holds a Master's in International Affairs with a specialization in economic policy management from Columbia University in New York, USA. Boldoo is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Iceland in Mongolia since 2008.

OUR MODERATOR

As the Chair of the "Sustainability & Energy" Working Group at EuroChamber Mongolia, Ms. Batzul Gerelsaikhan will host number of trainings and events in relations to ESG, sustainability and renewable energy.

Batzul has over 12 years of international and local management experience spanning diverse industries. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Properties Department at Erel LLC, specializing in energy-efficient housing and prefab construction. Additionally, she provides advisory services to Choijin Suites luxury serviced apartments and holds strategic roles, including Board Member of EuroChamber Mongolia and Committee Member of Over-the-Counter (OTC) Markets of Mongolia. Previously, as the Public Relations Director at APIP Hong Kong, she oversaw editorial responsibilities for key real estate publications. Batzul's career encompasses roles at PwC, Vivar Resources Ltd., the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and various international board positions.

She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
