Join us in the fight against air pollution in Mongolia's capital city!


Ulaanbaatar, a city of 1.5 million people, is grappling with one of the world's worst air pollution crises. Harsh winters force residents to burn coal for warmth, leading to dangerous smog that poses severe health risks.


UNDP Mongolia is working to address this urgent issue by providing vulnerable households with solar-powered heating systems. These systems replace harmful coal briquettes with clean, renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions and improving air quality.
